For many travelers, Mexico is a great option mainly due to its easy accessibility. There are plenty to chose from including Cancun, Ixtapa, Puerto Vallarta and my favorite, Los Cabos (or Cabo for short). I’ve been to Cabo about five times and each time makes me want to come back for more. The beach is gorgeous, the tacos are amazing and the hospitality is warm and welcoming. Now for the best part, which hotel should you stay in? Here are the Top 5 Reasons to Choose Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal on your next vacation:
- Plunge Pool–There are only a few hotels in the world that offer a pool in each room and Waldorf Astoria Cabo, a Hilton property, is one of them. All rooms have an infinity pool wherein each room has a pool facing the ocean. What a view! I love to just relax here early in the morning and at night with a champagne on hand.
2. Location–The entrance to the resort is quite lovely as it goes through a tunnel. The place is gated and walking distance to downtown. The resort is also on the far side of Cabo so there’s only a neighboring hotel on one side while the other side features their amazing restaurant (see #3 below).
3. El Farallon–Food, food, food. This is by far the best food with the best view. The restaurant has a daily menu written on a board which always consist of fish/steak options. My favorite is the grilled lobster with their homemade sauce.
4. Service–From booking to your departure from the resort, the service is impeccable. If you have any questions prior to arrival, your questions are answered immediately. There is also a personal concierge assigned to you a few days before your arrival to take care of your needs and you will be able to text anytime if you have any questions/requests. The staff are very friendly and willing to help you out throughout your stay. They welcome you with a drink while checking in, a bottle of tequila in your room and there’s daily margarita/beer with chips/guacamole. These are all included in your hotel rate.
5. Infinity Pools–If you like to have your own space away from kids, the resort has a designated adult pool. There are two big infinity pools which are super relaxing and the service is A+.
