Top 5 Books When Traveling

When I say Top 5 Books When Traveling, I meant the best books to read while you’re in the gate area waiting for your flight announcement to board, in flight, layovers, and of course, in your destination. There are so many books out there but these books really captivated my attention. Here are my Top 5 Books When Traveling:

1.YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LIFE—Sometimes I’m into a phase where I like to just read and read for months at a time. Then, I get out of it and crave to read again a year later. haha! The types of books I’m into vary and at one point I loved reading finance books. Are you interested in investments? Or at least looking for ways to change your outlook about saving money? I highly recommend this book.

It’s an easy read and it really makes you think about life and how you value money. Is that one hour of extra work worth it? Do you want to work more now and be financially independent sooner? To me, this book is eye opening and it even has exercise to do. (Exercises? Probably doesn’t sound good to some people!)

2. RICH DAD POOR DAD–Another one of my favorite investment type book is Rich Dad Poor Dad. This is mostly about investing especially in real estate and how to earn passive income. I like the way this book is set up as it portrays the author’s life experiences. This is also an easy read and very informative. This book shows how you can retire early and start good money habits while young.

3. SHOE DOG–I love reading stories about having nothing to everything. This is exactly what the book illustrates—a success story. It shows how determination, perseverance and passion are one of the good recipes for success. This sound so cliche but it really works. It felt like a long read but it was worth it.

4. THE HANDMAID’S TAIL–I heard about this book from the series that everyone was talking about last year. If you’ve seen the series, you know that this is such a crazy story. It was so fascinating that I was able to read it in just a few days. Interestingly enough tho, I haven’t seen the series. haha! I typically like books way better than the movies/series anyway.

5. CRAZY RICH ASIAN–This was recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. I even read this before the movie came out. Yes, I saw the movie but I think the book is way better. Then again, you can’t possibly put every detail in the movie. It’s such a funny and lighthearted story. Give it a try!

Overall, if you’re thinking of what to bring with you when you travel, get one of these books if your reading taste is similar to mine. If you have other suggestions (I could always use one!), feel free to comment below.
