Top 5 Reasons to Stay at Hyatt Zilara Cancun
I’ve repeatedly stated that I love the Caribbean…Cancun is no exception. I know so many people who have been to Mexico especially Cancun. If you have been here during your high school/college days for spring break, I am absolutely jealous! I enjoyed my vacation in Cancun and particularly this hotel, here are the Top 5 Reasons to Stay at Hyatt Zilara Cancun:
1.LOCATION–Hyatt Zilara Cancun is situated on the stretch of beach in the hotel zone or known as Zona Hotelera. I actually walked a significant distance from my hotel to the other hotels when I explored the area. It was a lot of fun. Also, the Hyatt Zilara is not too far away from the nightlife if you’re interested in going out at night.
2. ALL INCLUSIVE–This place is an all-inclusive hotel. That means you don’t have to spend extra money on food or drinks. Sometimes all inclusive hotel has a bad wrap but I can tell you that the quality here is AMAZING! The drinks were top shelf and yes it was strong and not watered down. The hotel has a variety of restaurants and they were all good. It includes a Mexican, Asian/Japanese, Caribbean, and buffet restaurants, dessert bar, and a private small group dinner called Chef’s plate. It was all fantastic!
3. 5 STAR SERVICE–I love the customer service in this hotel. To illustrate, I received 2 bottles of champagne and desserts for 2 birthday celebrations delivered in my room for FREE. Furthermore, the hotel has a quick 24 hour room service and the servers in the pool area were so diligent and attentive. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait to get drinks in my cabana.
4. VIEWS–Each hotel room has a great view because it is designed where each room has at least a glimpse of the Caribbean sea. I particularly liked the ocean view junior suite. The Caribbean view can’t be beat!
5. ADULTS ONLY–This specific hotel is adults only which is perfect for those of you who prefer to enjoy time away from kids. If you have kids, I suggest going to this hotel’s sister property, Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Also, the hotel has activities at certain times of the day which may include foam pool parties. haha!
Travel Tip: If you want to explore outside of this hotel, check out Harry’s Grill restaurant. Their lobster, steak and lychee martini were delicious. On top of that, the restaurant gives you a free cotton candy for dessert! Yum!
As for going out, if you enjoy live bands, check out The Ritz Carlton Cancun. I went there just to check out the hotel. To my surprise, they had entertainment set up in their bar area. Score! I even danced the night away! haha.
Overall, the Hyatt Zilara Cancun is my second all inclusive experience and it honestly made me want to do more of this type of hotel. In fact, I’ve already booked the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall in Jamaica for my next vacation this year. If it is similar to my trip to Cancun, I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.
